Error 51 means the "number of players" is wrong. Hit F1 or whatever you designate as the "service button" and use the "test button" (F2 for me) to navigate down to system assignments and then F1 to select. If you did that means the "arcade machine pcb" is configured wrong. , find it and select the dat file and away you go.ħ Did you get an error after the Naomi logo? 51 or 54? But If you don't have mame but do have another Naomi rom eg: monkeyball, raydirgy,Capcom vs SNK Millenium Fight 2000 Pro,etc. If you don't see anything you have to change the file association type search from "Binary Images(*.bin,*.dat)" (near the open and cancel buttons) to "MAME ROMS (*.zip) For now go to your mame rom folder and select "csmash". The only thing that you can do in that window is either "load game" or "exit". And I keep those in the Rom folder but you can select from where ever when launching a game. I'm not sure if the lst file is needed but I keep it anyways just in case.

Usually in a zip or rar format need to be unzipped leaving a dat file and an lst file. All the settings are explained pretty well. Fullscreen, on screen stats ,that annoying diagonal screen tear for some ati cards (which is fixed by changing pixel center value to -0.1 ). As far as I know this is the only place to configure anything, and there's not much.

So to save some people some time I thought I would post what worked for me as sort of a noob to noob tutorial. You have to search to and fro for everything. It's just hard to find a complete tutorial for it. I'm a noob but I spent some time with this emulator recently and it took me a while to figure out that it's really not that hard to get going.
